Myanmar Military:
Never in Fashion

The Myanmar military have killed over a thousand people and had thousands more arrested, trade unions have been declared illegal and workers’ are being handed over to the police by factory owners for protesting. International brands must support human rights and pull out of Myanmar until democracy is restored.

It's time to go!

Since the military seized power in February 2021 tens of thousands of people have been killed by the military and police or detained, raped and tortured while in custody. It is not possible for brands to operate safely in Myanmar while the military are in control, and any attempts to do so helps to fund the military and legitimize their bloody regime.

 

The largest trade unions in Myanmar have called for brands to responsibly withdraw their operations from the country. Now over 160 trade unions and civil society groups from around the world have come together to amplify their call. It is time for brands to leave Myanmar and join the movement forcing the military regime to step down.
