Myanmar Conference 2024

Trade Unions Under Military Rule Conference - London April 2024

Join us on Saturday 20th April as we co-host a special afternoon of discussion about the latest situation in Myanmar and hear from Burmese trade union organisers, both in person and on the ground in Burma, about what they are doing to fight for workers rights and restore democracy.

We‘ll also be hearing from experts on the genocide against the Rohingya and from people involved in the ethnic struggles away from the major cities.

Myanmar Military: Never in Fashion organisers, No Sweat and Global Women’s Strike are co-hosting this event with PCS Union and the Peace and Justice Project.

We encourage trade union organisers and activists to attend and learn how they can do more to support the underground trade union resistance in Myanmar.

Join us from 12pm – 5pm at Friends House near Euston Station, London NW1 2BJ.

Registration is free.
